b is for baking

 The truth is, I’m not the type to make baked goods, nor eat them regularly. However, over the past few years, I have attempted to bake some goodies for fun.  Most of them have failed miserably (from cookies, cakes, you name  it)

 I set myself a goal for this summer to become a great baker - not just a good baker, but a great one! We know practice makes PROGRESS, so i’ve attempted to bake something yummy whenever I get the chance for family or with friends. 

  A highlight so far: I made a banana bread with cream cheese frosting! We had leftover cream cheese frosting from my last creation, so it was used again.  

 A low light so far: My blackbean brownies turned out ok (a disgrace to fudge brownies). 

  This week, my friend, sarah, will be making some meringues with me. I cannot wait for this woman to show me her ways.

Here’s to my dad. Words cannot describe how thankful to have you as my dad. Happy Father’s Day! I couldn’t find many pictures, but here’s one I found during our trip to LA two years ago. Wow, we definitely don’t look the same.

The weather was gorgeous this past weekend. Today was even better than before.

(My habit of posting pics of Benji is growing exponentially. I should stop! I look at my pictures and I see how much he’s growing…wider. He’s no longer my baby haha) 

 Oh and I found these pics of Jo and I when we went to Toronto for our art assignment. Good times good times.

The more I see them, the more I want them. I’ve been pondering over these glasses for the past year (or maybe two). Again, I really want them. I’m a person who gets hooked on frame designs very easily. That’s very odd, maybe I’m just odd.
